Updating SmartConnect 21 Configuration Options
The SmartConnect Config button allows for some basic application settings to be modified. For most clients, these settings should not have to be modified from their original values.
- Connection Timeout
- The length of time (in seconds) that the SmartConnect application will wait while trying to establish a connection to a system.
- Command Timeout
- The length of time (in seconds) that the SmartConnect application will wait while trying to execute a command within an open connection.
- Debug
- This option will be flagged if the debug options are enabled in either the windows service or API service. This should not be left on for normal production use unless in the process of troubleshooting an issue for one of those components.
